Following his MBA and stints at several world-renowned companies, Hong Kong native Edwin Pun brings forth his knowledge and enthusiasm for art and design to his family business. In his new role, he oversees all architectural, landscape and interior design projects.
Freshly settled into the new office, MYKU met up with Edwin to speak about his take on creativity and what drives it.
To Edwin, constant reinvention is the most inspiring challenge. Working with new designers for each project, Edwin challenges himself and his team to take on a new view.
"To reinvent ourselves is the most challenging, but also the most exciting"
Edwin took us on the fascinating journey of property development, starting from an idea on paper to becoming an architectural reality.
"Every stone is truly unique"
Like a piece of art created by nature, stones are Edwin's personal inspiration. He cleverly integrates stones throughout his projects to emphasize their beauty and function.
Beyond his work, semi-precious stones are Edwin's personal passion. He chose MYKU's newly launched Lapis Lazuli edition, as the iridescent blue of each Lapis is one of a kind and holds a special meaning to him.
Edwin shared some valuable advice with us, describing how he was waiting for MYKU to launch Lapis Lazuli. Rather than immediate indulgence, so common these days, this bright creative teaches us the value of quality, which is worth waiting for.
"There has to be a special connection"
